Description

We wrapped up our last evening in Badlands National Park with a drive out to Roberts Prairie dog town, hoping to spot one of the rarely seen burrowing owls. Luck was on our side—this one stood tall with its legs stretched out, soaking in the golden hour light like it belonged right there in the heart of the prairie.
